Wah....Finally!This is my progress of my pixel art. They took me a lot of time lei...Although there are not quite hard la, but i need to focus each dot and fill in the colors. And do you know teacher want us to do it in isometric way, so i try to make it as 45 degree for each pixel art, but still got one can't make it really well. Anyway, i will keep on pay more effort for my subject and come out with a good result.

The Curse of Tutankhamen's Tomb

Howard Carter, perhaps the most famous archaeologist of all time, stared out as an artist and in 1891he set of for Egypt to paint the pyramids. However, he soon became Head Inspector of Upper Egypt Monuments.

In 1908 he met Lord Carnarvon, who put up the money ofr Carter's biggest dream- the search for Tutankhamen's tomb. However, in 1922 Cranarvon wanted to call off the expedition. He was beginning to believe the tomb would never be found. Carter talked him into continuing the search and on 4 November, 1922 Carter's hard work paid off. Finally, he stood at the entrance to the tomb.

With the discovery came stories of a curse. Above the entrance to the tomb Carter came across an inscription- 'Death Shall Come on Swift Wings to Him Who Disturbs the peace of the King'. A few months later Carnarvon passed away after being bitten by an insect. At exactly the same time as he died all the lights in Cairo went out. It was the first of several mysterious tied in with the discovery of the tomb.

A Mystery of SEA

A story is about the captain Briggs has suddenly disappeared in the Ocean. It was the afternoon of December 5, 1872, and ship called the Dei Gratia near the coast of Portugal. Suddenly, the Captain (Captain Morehouse) saw another small ship. It looked out of control, but there were no signals from the crew. After two hours, a group of people went on board the ship. What they saw was very strange.

A ship like this was normally noisy and busy, but the Mary Celeste was completely silent. Captain Briggs, his wife Sarah, two-year-old daughter Sophia Matilda, and the crew of seven were nowhere on board.

The crew probably left very quickly, because there were cups of tea and food on the tables. The ship's cat was still there were no people. But what they feel so strange is the life board was still there in the ship and davit in a perfect condition, and the washed clothes had just been hung out to dry. But what actually happened for the captain and those other crews in the ship? All of them were suddenly disappeared. Perhaps there was something happening during the two hours time.

The ship was the Mary Celeste from New York. His story is still one of the great mysteries of the sea. Did the Captain think there was a danger on board? Did he suddenly see an iceberg? Maybe there was a storm at sea? Or perhaps there was even a sea monster?

All we know for sure is that no one ever saw the captain and crew of the Mary Celeste again.

What is Isometric Pixel Art

Isometric pixel art is form of digital art. It can be create through the use of raster graphics software and most of those images are edited on the pixel level. And for those old computer graphics, video and mobile phone games are mostly in pixel art to form of it. As we know that, when we zoom in for any images in computer, we can see clearer for the pixel form, and each pixel form size is same size as any other pixel, but it can be fill it in any colors as you want to and it can fit together with other pixels as a mosaic.

Findings
The pixel art was first published by Adele Goldberg and Robert Flegal of Xerox Palo Alto Research Center in 1982.

History of pixel art
For this history of pixel art, I knew that they are some traditional art forms, such as cross-stitch, mosaic and bead work, actually were bearing to same similarity to pixel art. that is for constructing pictures out of small colored units and same thing to pixels of modern digital computing. By talking about the concept, we need to go back about 10 years before that, for example in Richard Shoup's Super Paint system in 1972.

Where it can be found/used
Now many of the pixel art you can find it in old computer and video games, graphing calculator games, mobile phone games and even in the Icons for operating systems with the limited of graphics abilities. But nowadays, pixel art has many of the evolution, and what you see in the graphic in game has increased to three-dimensional view. But what has never changed is the mobile phone; you still can find them in old type of mobile phone are mostly in pixel art.
